Enough
In Enough Tessa played Gracie Hiller opposite Jennifer Lopez. Gracie was a cute
adorable and precotious child. Gracie was taken by her mother and went into
hiding from her father who was abusive towards her mother. In the end her father
died and she and her mother lived happily ever after.
Walls of Jericho
Tessa plays Emily. The story of the death of a little girl Emily, who
drowned in the backyard pool, while under the care of her aunt. It is the story
of forgivness.
Open House
In the film Tessa played the main character as a child. The main character
of the film goes back to her childhood home many years after her family has
lived there during an Open House. While there she has many flashbacks to her
youth. She keeps seeing herself as a child running through and playing in the
house until at the end we did a really cool mirror effect where the adult sees
Tessa as her reflection and the younger version is able to help the adult cope
with her childhood issues she had with her father and his abuse.
Sunnier Days
UCLA Grad Film: Tessa plays Greta. Twelve-year-old Greta's dad is moving the
family cross country, promising a California paradise and packing half their
household into a dented station wagon. All that's missing is mom. As they travel
from forest, through plains, to desert, stopping at fast food joints, shoddy
motels, and a poor substitute for the Grand Canyon, Greta gradually loses her
illusions that her family will be made whole again once they reach the other
coast.
The Moment She Fell
Janice Green was a bestselling author, a wife, and a mother. She died
of cancer six months ago. Her wake has left a divide between her husband, George,
and her daughter, Alice. George copes with the loss of Janice by forcing himself
to forget, while Alice’s grieving is a process of remembering. Alice’s
mourning has developed into a case of hypochondria in which each faint cough
or discolored freckle becomes symptomatic of her own case of cancer. George,
thinking this is simply Alice’s coping mechanism, heeds it little attention.
But when Alice disobeys her fathers wishes and runs away to the hospital for
a doctor’s visit, George must finally confront his daughter’s own
grieving. Their choice is simple: to knowingly watch each other drown in their
grief, or to find a middle ground to get over the void Janice has left behind.
